Sorry about that. Had a bit if a funny turn there. I've been on a short rehab program and lost a lot of weight. Since then I've been topped up with more flour and water and I'm feeling much better. 

Here I am at 5 days old.

Actually, you'd be right. I'm Boris, and I'm a sourdough starter.

I was made with flour, water and an apple from the garden. I am sitting on a shelf in a jar, waiting to be fed.
